Love like there is no tomorrow. That is what Laura and Eddie's motto seems to me when I heard their story. It was just like any other day when Eddie decided to sit down in front of his computer and check his account on match.com. Flipping through page after page of listings, Eddie was losing hope of finding anyone interesting to connect with when lo and behold on page 47 there she was, standing out of the crowd like no other... Laura. He knew it in an instance but, clearly written in her profile was "NO long distance, locals only". He was 140 miles away! He knew he could not be deterred by that and decided to give it a chance anyways. They had their first date at Six Flags in Arlington, Texas shared a coke and their passion for roller coasters.
In the summer of 2013, a freak boating accident almost took the life of Eddie while on their vacation. Laura was quick to point out how thankful she was that there was a group of paramedics and emts who happened to be hanging out at the lake that 4th of July. They helped pull Eddie out of the water and stabilize him until the ambulance arrived. He was airlifted back to Dallas for immediate surgery and running purely on faith, prayer and love, Laura drove herself and her son on the 3 hour journey back to Dallas with a broken leg. Yes, you heard that right a broken leg. They made it safely back in time to be with Eddie when he got out of surgery.
They have been celebrating everyday after they have together and love one another like there is no tomorrow. This shoot was to celebrate their 4th wedding anniversary! Happy Anniversary Eddie and Laura. You both are truly an inspiration to all to put God front and center in your marriage.
