Ahhhh! Spring is in the air.......ahhhh chooo! yes, the pollen too. But I still love this time of the year mostly because my daughter Daniela was born in spring :) I have to say, Texas has some of the most amazing wild flowers. They are everywhere and it just brings a smile to my face every time I see them. To me they mean new life and new beginnings. The blue bonnets in Texas are especially pretty. I just couldn't help myself and drag my loyal troopers(dh & dd) out for a couple of shots. Thought I'd share some with you but here is the first one. More to be posted soon...

Was not planning on being in front of the camera hence the bad hairdo, but the flowers were too pretty!!!

Meet this beautiful family made up of Steve, Laura, Claire and soon to be born Cooper. I cannot say enough of how sweet this family is. They have been so supportive of my photography and Laura especially has been a wonderful advocate for me. I cannot thank her enough for her support.

I had the privilege to photograph both Alden and Jeff. A really sweet couple who were shy initially, but warmed up quickly to the camera and were such sports to put up with my silliness.  Man oh man, I’m so excited about all of these images! All I can think to say is thank you. Thank you for your trust, for asking me to capture your beauty, showing me your genuine selves, and being ridiculously in love.

This image (in my oh! so humble opinion) is the definition of “in love.”:) I adore you two…

Alden, are you kidding me with those eyes?!! You have such pretty eyes.

When I sneaked peeked it, Alden responded "Oh my gosh! They are FABULOUS!! Like isn't even the word. When I saw this picture of him kissing my shoulder...I cried!" Isn't that precious?!!!

You both are awesome. Alden, my soon to be 3 year old saw your pictures and said "She is so beautiful, mama." and I have to say I couldn't agree more. You will make a beautiful bride....and you Jeff, you look pretty sharp yourself.

So, I have taken the plunge and finally got myself a blog. I know, I know it's long time coming. Hey! I figured better late than never and I am sure it will be a blast! You can find all the information you will need on a session with me here but most importantly I will be sharing all my latest session pictures. The best part though, I hope to share some outtakes from my session because I believe we all could use more laughter in our lives and what better way than to allow me to put a smile on your beautiful face.
